About Saluto

A small, calm place for your health.

Saluto is an independent Canadian wellness platform. We build quiet, evidence-based tools — and we grow slowly, on purpose.
Why we exist

The manifesto.

Three short paragraphs that tell you what to expect from Saluto — and what not to.

Most wellness apps shout. They count everything, punish you for missing a day, and push notifications like they're paid by the buzz. Saluto is the other thing.

We build small, honest tools — starting with a BMI calculator — and each one ships with the studies it's built on. You can use them once and leave, or return when it's useful. Either is fine.

We're Canadian, bilingual, and we won't pretend to be your doctor. We'll just give you a clearer picture to bring to them.

How we work

Our principles.

Four rules we've written down so we don't forget them later.
01

Cite everything

Every number we show has a source. Every source is one click away. No appeals to authority without a link.

02

Private by default

No accounts to try a tool. Nothing sent anywhere we didn't need to. Data stays on your device.

03

Bilingual, always

Every page ships in English and French together. Canada is bilingual — our product should be too.

04

Slow & small

We'd rather ship one excellent calculator than ten passable ones. New tools arrive quietly, one at a time.

Where we're going

A slow roadmap.

We'd rather be honest about when things arrive than pretend everything is "soon".
